Not too far from Ranu Pani and Ranu Regulo (read my previous post here) I continued my trip to Puncak Satu. Around 15 minutes, we arrived at Puncak Satu. It’s not an open tourist attraction because it’s more like a road with a view of the famous Bukit Teletubies from Bromo Mountain.
Here it is! I don’t know exactly why they called it Bukit Teletubies or how it started be called that way. But maybe, I guess because there’s green hill similar to Teletubies’s home.
Pretty good landscape for instagram photos huh? More than that, the view is way more beautiful to be seen directly. Locals told me we could go down to Bukit Teletubies, but unfortunatelly I didn’t have much time 😦
Oh, and I will write down some information if you wanna stay here for a night or two, or maybe you plan for hike Semeru mountain. Here’s some information, I hope it’s useful 🙂
- There’s no signal at all in this area. People who live here use telephone.
- The goodnews is there’s WIFI connection in Balai Desa and we can use it for free.
- It’s super cold at night, so prepare yourself!
Here some info about Homestay in this area. The owner of this homestays are very friendly and experienced enough about hiking, and of course they know a lot of good places around here! 🙂
